“Library Wish List” campaign
The MUHC Libraries are pleased to announce a successful completion of our “Library Wish List” campaign. The campaign ran from July 8th to October 10th, and a total of sixty-six wishes were submitted from across sites.
We’d first like to thank those of you that submitted wishes for participating. Engagement with our users (and potential users!) is essential for us to keep meeting the community’s needs, new and old, so we can continue to grow.
We heard many kinds of requests, but some of the big themes included: access to databases, specific book titles, and more comfortable and convenient spaces. We are pleased to inform you that we are working to create partnerships with other networks to offer wider access to electronic resources. We’ve also been encouraging greater use of inter-library loans, and have recently reduced fees for this service. Finally, we are analyzing requests for physical amenities – you may see changes in the coming year.
Thank you once again for telling us what’s important to you. While this campaign has now ended, we welcome feedback, questions and comments all year around – click here for the contact information for each site.
