EndNote is citation management software which allows users to save references from databases (Medline, PubMed, CINAHL, etc) and other sources, organize them, and automatically format them into in-text citations and bibliographies in manuscripts.

Is EndNote available for free?

Usually, you have to pay for EndNote. However, at the MUHC, EndNote is installed on several library computers.

McGill University has negotiated a license for McGill staff and students to install EndNote at no cost on their personal computers. For details, consult McGill ICS.
